Last post of the year!

Yeah, well, I wasn't planning to say something special on this one... Just to wish you all a happy new year and stuff :)

In about half an hour me and my sister are going to the New Year's Eve annual photo shoot with my friends; it's not like a big fashion photo shoot obviously, we just take pictures of ourselves looking pretty and then post them on Facebook as usual. We've been doing it for 4 years now :O
We're getting old!

Oh crap... in 2009 I'm turning 20. I'm also planning to travel to Europe with Valeria, but because of this crisis and stuff I'm starting to doubt I'll go anywhere. Which really sucks, cos I haven't been to Europe in almost 4 years and I really need a dose of France.
Robert Pattinson turns 23, and that kinda disturbes me cos in my mind the difference between 22 and 23 is massive, dunno why; it's like you've suddenly become a LOT older just by turning 23 :S I think I now understand why people say I complicate myself a lot.

Anyhoo, for the next year I wanna lose some weight, because I might look ok, but I don't think it's enough... of course, I'm not becoming a bloody anorexic, but I feel like getting rid of those extra kilos...

Fine, enough for now.

Ok, I haven't posted in a while, and I really should cos I said I wasn't abandoning this blog. Or at least I thought so...

Anyway, Christmas Eve was a fun day, my cousin Romina came and we discovered that the three of us (my sister, my cousin and myself) share the same obsession: Twilight!

Yeah, gotta love the vampire that is Edward Cullen. So, instead of spending quality time with the family, including my aunt who lives in Spain, we actually went upstairs to our apartment and went online to stalk this man:

And I got these presents:

Apart from earrings, a watch, a small purse and some money, which I already spent on my New Year's Eve cocktail dress, which you shall see early next year.

Así es. Hoy exactamente hace un año que nació El Glamouroso Mundo de Liselotte :)
Y aunque no escribo tan a menudo como quisiera, ¡mantendré vivo este blog por bastante tiempo!

Nuevo descubrimiento, nueva obsesión.
Yo tenía en mi computadora dos canciones de estos chicos suecos, de las que estaban en el Soundtrack de Marie Antoinette, la película de Sofia Coppola; lo que pasa es que nunca les presté mucha antención. Luego vuelve mi hermana desde Francia con el álbum de la película y esta vez si presté más atención. Tanto así que ayer bajé como 20 de sus canciones para hacerme un CD para el carro, porque yo no puedo estar sin escuchar música mientras manejo, jeje.
So, creo que es mi nueva banda favorita, al menos en estos días. Les dejo un playlist con 3 canciones, aunque no está mi favorita, "I don't like it like this", porque no la encontré :(

You may know I'm in a choir. So, we get invited to these many concerts and events... The last one being all Christmassy and involving these silly Eskimo robes, which made you very, very hot, but in the end they proved to be a lot of fun. Check it out:

Mañana me voy a Barbados.

Ahora siento que este año he viajado bastante, comparado con otros años.

Anyway, sólo serán 4 días en la isla, la razón del viaje es que el padrino de mi hermana se casa y a ella le ha tocado ser dama de honor. Los demás estamos invitados, of course, no fue sólo que porque mi hermana estuviera en el cortejo nosotros íbamos obligados. O algo así.

Aunque no soy muy amante de la playa y el sol etc., he decidido ir en el crucero para nadar con las tortugas. Supongo que será divertido. Pero el resto del viaje me toca estudiar porque a un profesor se le ocurrió mandarnos a hacer un trabajo para este viernes, el cual yo entregaré el lunes por razones obvias. Además que llegamos el mismo lunes... la destrucción total.

Y encima la boda es gringa... no se que esperarme. Hay gente que me ha dicho que son aburridas, pero teniendo el plus de que es en Barbados me imagino que tendrá algo de diversión.

Tengo entendido que la boda es en el hotel Sandy Lane, que parece que es conocido porque van muchas celebrities... si veo a alguien conocido me tomaré fotos con él/ella jejeje =D

Si, si, me han taggeado en un blog, cortesía de Juan... no sabía que eso existía, jejeje :D

1. Clothes Shop: H&M, Abercrombie & Fitch, Zara algunas veces...

2. Furniture Shop: Hmm... los de Urban Outfitters!

3. Sweet: No se, algo que involucre chocolate supongo, estoy obsesionada con los brownies, pero no se si se deberían incluir en Pastries...

4. City: NYC, Paris, Atenas, Lyon, Sao Lourenço, Sao Paulo... no se, me gustan muchas, puse las que se me ocurrieron en este momento!

5. Drink: Me gusta el Lipton Ice Tea de durazno... creo que lo amo. Y las caipirinhas, of course :)

6. Music: Arctic Monkeys, Bloc Party, The Ting Tings, Vampire Weekend, Justice, la Ed Banger Crew, Joy Division... esas cosas, pues.

7. TV-Series: Gossip Girl, Grey's Anatomy, Skins, Two and a Half Men, The Big Bang Theory (gotta love 'em nerds!)

8. Film: Puras Joyitas, Munich, Giulietta degli Spiritti, El Laberinto del Fauno, Les Poupées Russes, Marie Antoinette, Amélie... European films mostly.

9. Workout: Walking...

10. Pastries: El brownie, si, el brownie.

11. Coffee: Mocha Frappuccino de Starbucks :)

Nótese que yo soy la pequeña niña que esté siendo aplastada ahí a la derecha. Madre lleva una gorra como anaranjada y unos Wayfarers de carey. La famosa Manuela lleva la gorra roja con el rectángulo amarillo... I don't think we look alike at all. Las otras dos personas son amigos de madre, unos hermanos italianos... I've been told the guy is still single nowadays. Nice to know hehehe. Seguro ahora es calvo anyway xD.

En agosto encontré en una gaveta los Wayfarers de carey, con las patas que estaban sueltas. So, no podía dejar pasar la oportunidad, los mandé a arreglar inmediatamente y ahora ando por la city y el mundo con Wayfarers vintage :) So fab*
